Our Poster Child for Hive Complex

The Poster Child for Hive Complex! A recent quote to our babysitter who was almost a sucker for the stuff..."Hey Britney, lift me up to the cupboard, I want to show you somthing...now close your eyes!.......Open!...It's Hive Complex...its good for you......want to try some?"Everytime. Licks the spoon till there is not a drop left.
I am thinking the watching and thinking..."Hmmm, if he likes it so much, it must be good" how many times am I going to hear in the next 5-20 years..."here, brother try it..it's good!"

unsure...

but goes for it anyway

After I told him we were all done and I had walked away...I came back to find him scraping the lid! Unbelievable. Usually I put it away, but as I was taking the pics...he kept trying to sneak some more and finally got a hold of the lid! It is as if it was halloween candy!

My hive Complex Boys...check out the lips
I just had to post these pics taken this morning. I can't even believe my boys love this stuff so much! I know it is good for them and I can say that when John is taking it with his dad regularly, he is rarely sick and seems to fight stuff off really quickly...but seriously. When John was about 2, he was fascinated with Alan's ritual of eating Hive Complex every morning. So one morning we allowed him to have a bite, fully expecting him to gag and spit and refuse to have any more at any time. Since then, he is an addict. He LOVES it. So we have various stories of him eating it like it is honey or peanut butter or something. We have had numerous people who have had hive complex comment that there might be something wrong with his taste buds or something! However, this weekend Eli has now decided that he in fact also LOVES the stuff. It is incredible to me. For those of you that do not know what is in Hive Complex, it is a combination of honey, Royal Jelly, Bee Pollen, propolis and Ginseng. (It is definitely good for you....but the taste is awful...I take the capsules which you can't taste at all.) I can confirm from someone who has had this stuff...normal adults including myself usually gag and spit it out(just so you know..Eli has only been given a tiny amount since he is still a bit under two). I had to post the pictures to show proof! I challenge anyone to try it and see if any of you would actually LICK the spoon and scrap the lid for more!

Good pictures. They are really cute. Hopefully no one ever tells them that that stuff tastes bad!
