Ladybugs and Pajamas...

So there has been a bribe to get the boys to gain interest in "we're going to the garden store". I'd say...."hey, maybe there will be bags of ladybugs for sale this time!" I finally had to come clean and let the boys buy a bag of ladybugs and let them go at night time. It was such a funny night because it was so late and they had both been in time outs and we had threatened numberous times that if they did not mind us they would not get to do the ladybugs. Well, the reality was that we HAD to do it that night based on our week. Soooo after we put them both to bed, Alan and I looked at each other looking for the other one to come up with the "perfect parenting plan". We came up short and said.... "No talking or explaining, you get one, I'll get the other and let's have lots of fun." The boys were shocked to see us back in there rooms to announce the plans for the night. However, they must have sensed their luck cause neither one questioned the decision.

It was so fun....good parenting or not:)
